Most students who struggle with pre-algebra and beyond aren’t failing because they’re lazy or not trying. They’re missing one or two key skills, and no one ever went back to fill in the gaps. At Algebra Success Academy, we exist to change that.

From Struggling Student to Supportive Math Coach
I wasn’t always confident in math. In fact, I spent most of middle and high school believing I just wasn’t “a math person.”
Algebra felt confusing and rushed, and no one ever slowed down to explain it in a way that actually made sense. I assumed it was me. That I just wasn’t cut out for it.
But later, as I started tutoring and teaching, I realized how many students were in that exact same place. They weren’t failing because they were lazy or incapable. They were missing a few foundational skills, and no one had gone back to fill in the gaps.
That realization is what led me to create Algebra Success Academy: a supportive, step-by-step program that makes math finally make sense.
When students feel supported, math isn’t just doable, it can even be fun.
